So I do a weekly comic strip for my school newspaper and one of the hardest parts about it has been figuring out how to make speech bubbles and choose and font and do lettering. I've played with doing it in photoshop and by hand. Any tips for someone doing there own lettering since yours looks great!
yeah man. use adobe illustrator.... and just follow all these guidelines [link] and all these how tos [link] (there are more than one page so make sure to click "more" at the bottom... pretty much all i did to learn... to get started really study these two particular tips... [link] and [link] - those two things are what i deem essential to really making lettering look good. that and most importantly just emulate what you think is good and professional (marvel and dc books obviously)... cant go wrong from the pros.
