ive spent way too much time on these colors. i was really going for the colors of the game. mixed with this quasi realistic comic style. hope you like. i'm happy with how it turned out. share it fave it like it. it all helps my strive to do better art. take care.
see the inks here, and some about my coloring process featuring a WIP of this.
when i first drew this here is the info i wrote about it:
"Day 17 of the June '12 Daily Art Jam. Super Mario (Goombas and Koopas actually) Subject Chosen by Jonathan Brandon Sawyer. my two art friends and i have teamed up with me as we take turns and pick a subject from day to day that we all 3 will sketch the subject. 30 subjects. 30 days. one a day. What if Super Mario got a bit too real...? So the actual subject of today was Goombas (little mushroom guy) and Koopas(the little turtle guys) from the Super Mario Universe... ive been trying to really apply myself to every piece this month... so i took it a bit further and made it more of an actual Super Mario Piece featuring goombas and koopas... to be honest too... i drew a ton more stuff in the sketching of this. but decided to save them for later... and just ink up the foreground and move on until i have more time to finish it up. im two days behind right now."
Just so you know, someone took this to "funnyshare.org" and removed your signature and link at the bottom. :c I found this out through Imgur, and posted credit to your work in the comments.
