did this pre cintiq days (back in 09).... so just on my cheap little 4x6 tablet.
i had really just started digitally inking. was my first go at inking something a pro comic artist did.
its got all kinds of problems from wobbly line to horribly feathering... i was learning both how to use the software still and the what it takes to be a good inker.
but its still worth a look.

He sure did. But the inks are impressive as well. I've inked a few pages like this in my day, but it never turned out as nice as this lol.

Take a look at Manga Studio. Not only do they have amazing pens, but you can adjust the stroke. If you have a shaky hand, it'll smooth out the line.
Or
Go with vector inking with Adobe Illustrator.

But, nice inking.

haha. i suppose i should have mentioned the program i was just starting to learn was Manga studio on this. like i said this was back in 09 so since then im pretty much a MS expert and have gone leaps and bounds better work. this was before i had my cintiq as well.

i actually did try illustrator for awhile. i had more than a few issues with it so i gave up on it after awhile.

MS is where its at for me and digital inking. i cant imagine myself using anything else.

thanks for the insight and compliment. take care.
